![]() #Microsoft word for mac 2011 update code#It's unclear whether Microsoft's or Apple's code was responsible for the Office 2016 crashes, or a combination of both. Apple released the first El Capitan GM on Sept. "Golden master" is a term used to describe the last testing release of an upcoming program or operating system. ![]() There has been no advisory (to my knowledge) warning of the known issues and certainly no ETA on a fix. At worst, Microsoft hasn't taken this seriously enough, and at best, it hasn't been communicating with its customers well enough. Otherwise you get what we're seeing now: customers upgrading to El Cap and finding Office, a mission-critical suite for most people, is now broken. "Any sane developer should be proactively ensuring compatibility with GM prior to release," added "fryle" today. All my other programs are fine, including the entire Adobe suite, which I think is infinitely more complex than Office." "As someone else reported, they know about this but do not appear to be doing much about it. And it appears that Microsoft still isn't doing anything about it," said Swail in a later post. "This issue has been happening on beta for months. Invariably, others chimed in to say that the speculated fixes did nothing to help them, or disagreed with another's technical diagnosis.īut the one area of agreement was that the situation was untenable and unacceptable. Typical for a peer-to-peer support forum, users proposed multiple solutions and forwarded a host of theories about the crash cause. "If I have more than one Office app open and a crash occurs on one of them, the other one locks up too," wrote a user identified only as "EJZK" today. Some have seen Outlook go dead when their Macs awoke from sleep, others asserted that the downfall of one Office application caused all other open Office applications to crash as well, while a few noted that even after a crash, the applications were unresponsive, requiring a Mac restart to clear the decks.Ĭomputerworld has seen all those scenarios, too. ![]() The application crashes and the ensuing lock-ups come at various times and when performing various chores with the software, users said. Some Computerworld staffers have been experiencing the same irregular crashes of Office 2016 applications, notably Outlook, but also Excel and Word, that have been reported on Microsoft's support forum. While the thread's kick-off message was posted July 25, about two weeks after Microsoft shipped Office 2016 for Mac and Apple delivered the first public beta of OS X 10.11, aka El Capitan, the volume of messages added to the thread swelled yesterday, when Apple released the OS X upgrade. The discussion thread where Swail and Chaves posted their complaints had over 140 messages and had been viewed more than 13,300 times, both extremely large numbers for Microsoft's Office for Mac support forum. ![]() ![]() ![]() I could only give you a few tips that will help you succeed. There is no clear and easy way to show how much beating is enough, except for your own trials and errors. The key to the successful chiffon cake is the meringue (the beaten egg whites). 3 Tips to Make Perfect Meringue (Beaten Egg Whites) If you use an angel food cake pan, invert the cake pan on a cooling rack. Stick the cake pan on a tall heavy bottle and let cool for 3-4 hours before removing the cake pan. The cake must be cooled upside down in its pan so that it stretches downward instead of collapsing. You can buy a 7-inch round angel cake pan with a removable base on Amazon or a 17-cm aluminum Japanese chiffon cake pan on Nihon Ichiban or Amazon. Do not grease the mold because the cake needs to cling to the sides and center of the pan for support as it rises. The best types are the aluminum pan with a removable base. Make sure you use the right chiffon cake pan. This is the most important factor, so I’ll cover this topic in a separate section below. Make the perfect meringue (beaten egg whites) In order to make a perfect chiffon cake, there are a few important factors. ![]() The sponge is very moist, and usually not overly sweet (especially if you are making a Japanese chiffon cake recipe). The texture of the sponge is light, fine, airy, fluffy, and bouncy. It rises tall and straight to the top of the chiffon cake pan without caving into itself. Here are the characteristics of a perfect chiffon cake: #You will never get the cake how to#What Makes a Perfect Chiffon Cake and How to Achieve It? However, chiffon cake uses both baking powder and oil, while sponge cake doesn’t contain baking powder. The base batter for both chiffon cake and sponge cake are made of separated, whipped egg whites and yolks. It is lighter and airier when compared to a sponge cake. You can say that chiffon cake has the in-between texture of a sponge cake and a butter cake. How about Sponge Cake? Is There a Difference Between Chiffon Cake and Sponge Cake? The only difference between these two cakes is that angel food cake uses no egg yolks and no fat, but chiffon cakes include both the whites and the yolks. You might be more familiar with angel food cake as they are commonly sold in grocery stores. Is Chiffon Cake The Same as Angel Food Cake? Unlike other types of sponge cakes that use chemical/artificial leavener such as baking soda and baking powder, chiffon cakes are leavened mostly from the meringue (stiffly beaten egg whites). They are baked in a tall pan with at least four inches deep and must be cooled upside down to retain their height. Chiffon cake is a light cake with a spongy texture made with simple ingredients such as oil, eggs, sugar, flour, and flavorings. My chiffon cake sank/deflated after I took it out of the oven.
![]() ![]() ![]() Make sure it will not move my hot gluing it down. Is there anyway you can put a small piece of mirror, even a plane regular mirror, in the set up to capture some overflow light and direct it to the back of the object? A good place would be to place it right next to the object and prop it up to reflect light next to the object that would otherwise miss the obect up to the object. The most common cause of the depth problem you are having is a lack of coherence or less likely (as you stated your coherence is long) is the back of the objects are not getting enough light. The best objects are flat white objects not shiney objects like coins. If so then what is happening is the coins are acting like mirrors and they are reflecting most of the light back to the plate at just one angle, just like a mirror. Is there a spot where the coins are very very bright? Most likely view it from below the hologram almost where the light would reflect in your eyes. Then view the hologram by moving your head through a buch of differnt angles. Is the dimness of my coins due to something I'm doing or should I expectĬarolyn, set up the coin hologram so that a point source white light is hitting the hologram close to the same angle of the recording reference beam. Why can't I see my entire train in the others? It doesn't get more than 2 inches from the plate but you can only see the closest sections. Then I tried one with coins which seems to have turned out fairly well.you can see it (and no stripes!!).but its kind of dim. They're also a lot harder to see then they were in my first try Also I have stripes in this one but they're vertical and both edges are jagged, which I'm taking to mean (unless someone corrects me) that light entered through the both side edges and just happened to meet in the right spots to overlap stripes and make both edges look jagged. It's kinda cool though bc you can see the front part of the train.and sorta peer around the cow catcher and you can see some of the amethyst. ![]() The 8 second one I think I developed right, but you still can't see the entire thing so I'm really starting to get frustrated about this. I might've also left it in the first solution too long. Also the plate is cloudy but I think that that is because I left it in the bleach too long. ![]() the 15 sec exposure turned out s much easier to find and there are no stripes, however, you still can't see the whole thing.only the closest sections. But such considerations are taking me to a “dark place” regarding my curve tool, that is, what do I need to do to get it out of the old 0-255 paradigm and allow one to construct proper curves over the high bit-depth display range. So my holograms are dry. With regard to such tools in rawproc, I’m actually going the other way 0.9 is going to remove my simplistic shadow, highlight, and contrast tools, as I now prefer to do such manually with a spline curve. It goes into a “one tone curve to rule them all” sort of mental discourse (ha, there’s a fancy way to refer to ‘talking to ones self’… ) and the never-ending quest for reliable ETTR. Photoflow relight how to#Your thread has come at an opportune time for me, as I’m working through this very consideration in figuring out how to use the new camera. Thing is, the upper values are maybe too saturated in the relight rendition, at least to my eyes. In the processing chain up to the curve, I kept the original proof raw conversion except to remove the blackwhitepoint scaling, and I added a camera space → working profile transform. ![]() ![]() ![]()

This seems to be a recurring issue for Hue Sync app users, but thankfully there is a reliable solution that can get things working again.Īll you need to do is rollback the version of the Hue Sync app you are using. So what’s the fix? Rollback Your Version of Hue Some users reported that the app would lose connectivity as often as once every hour. Connectivity is what makes smart tech work, and it needs to be reliable in order for the “smart” part of things to live up to its name. Over the last few months, users have reported that when Philips pushes new updates for either their Hue bridge or the Hue Sync app, their app will start disconnecting randomly from their bridge. Here are a few of the most common issues with the Hue Sync app. The Hue Sync app is a relatively new product and like most new tech comes with its own host of problems. Let’s go through some of the most common bugs and how you can fix them quickly and easily.
